I got spend the night with my girl, Mel, before she had to head off to college. We had the hardest time in the morning deciding whether or not to head out and take pictures or sleep. ALMOSSTTT chose sleep. So glad we decided on this adventure!
THIS IS MY SUN POISONING FACE. woo hoo!
I've been stranded on this island called Asseteague for years, jk. like 3 days. BUT STILL, HURRICANE IRENE IS A COMIN' AND WE ALL HAVE TO EVACUATE TOMORROW!
I'LL POST MORE SOON, THAT IS, IF I SURVIVE THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
Nine West was kind enough to send me these beautiful flats! I love how they're pointed at the toe, and have such fun colors. I wore them to the dentist's and there ended up being more talk of the shoes than my teeth...which is always good.
I had was inspired by my taco-bell cup to make this crazy futuristic hair-do. It ended up working so well and only taking 15 min! I thought it might be fun to share just how the magic happened.
STEP 1: cut the cup to desired height.
STEP 2: Cut a hole in the bottom so that you have something to bobby-pin your hair to.
STEP 3: poke a holes in the top part to attach bobby pins that will secure the cup to your head. It's no fun to have a crazy marge simpson's up do-only to have it topple over and reveal your taco-bell cup. SAFETY FIRST!
STEP 4: Layer hair around the cup and bobby-pin it to the top.
STEP 5: coil hair around the front and bobby pin to your head.
STEP 6: SHA-BAM. TIME TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE &WORK IT.
While in Maine a couple of my friends and I bought a shake weight together. For those that don't know of the infamous shake-weight I have attached their official commercial.
To much surprise the shakeweight was quite a work-out and got us shaked-out much quicker than expected.
Since we couldn't decide who would bring this marvelous toy home with them we agreed on sending it to each other. On the plane ride home from Maine my bag was 9 lbs too heavy. I ended up having to carry along none other than the shakeweight. through 4 different airports... Every time I went through security I could see them making the "shake motion" and laughing at me. It wouldn't have been that bad if I hadn't have also had to carry my crown, fur t-shirt, and horse head.
It was a long day.
Here's a couple pictures of the outside of the secret package I sent to Nate. Enclosed with the shakeweight were a bunch of other surprises from Michigan. It was sad to send the package, though I know the future holds many more shakweight adventures for our sisterhood.
